Terms of Service

1. The service

HabitStrider is a personal planner: daily plans, tasks, time blocks, habits and reviews. The Free plan is free of charge. Pro is a paid subscription that removes the habit limit and adds features described on the pricing page.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to use HabitStrider.
• Keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Don't use HabitStrider to break the law or to harm the service or others.

3. Your content

What you write in HabitStrider stays yours. We store and process it only to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export it or delete your account at any time from Settings.

4. Pro subscriptions and payments

• Pro is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Razorpay, our payment processor. Prices are in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes, if any.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
• If we change the price of Pro, we will tell you by e-mail at least 30 days in advance. The new price applies from your first renewal after that notice period, and you can cancel before then.
• Cancellation and refunds: see Refunds & cancellation.
• If a renewal payment fails, Pro may end. Your existing habits are kept; only adding or restoring habits beyond the Free limit is blocked.

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep HabitStrider available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue Pro we will refund the unused part of a prepaid period.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to HabitStrider is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer law, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy & data. Deleting your account cancels an active Pro subscription immediately, and the unused part of the paid period is not refunded (see Refunds & cancellation).

We may suspend accounts that break these terms. We will give you 7 days' notice by e-mail first, except that we may act immediately in cases of abuse, fraud or security threats.

8. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India; the courts at Ernakulam, Kerala have jurisdiction. Questions: see Contact.
